Kentucky Bourbon Trail: The 100-Mile Road Trip

Roughly 95% of all the bourbon on Earth is made in one state, along one stretch of Kentucky road running through horse country from Louisville to Bardstown to Lexington. The Kentucky Bourbon Trail is the official route, run by the Kentucky Distillers' Association.

You don't need to tour all of them — pick one or two, do them well, and enjoy the free scenery in between. Here's how to do the trail at every budget. Distillery tour prices vary and change often, so use the links to check current pricing before you go.
